Afternoon delight.

One of the great things about living near the National Forest is having access to world-class hiking trails. Sunday afternoon our family went out and spent a couple of hours enjoying the Lord's earth. This hike was near the Piedmont/Blackhawk closure area.

We started the hike with Henry being carried and Hannah holding the walking stick. Vivien held her own for awhile but soon wanted up on my neck.

Hannah hanging on.

Waterfall about two miles in. This also serves as a wonderful backdrop for family pictures.

Vivien and I climbing. Michelle thought it would be wise not to take our two year old daughter any higher.
