I was hoping it was 10%.


I caught the NPR interview this afternoon on the Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction. His name is Arnold Fields, a retired Marine Corps Major General. He was asked what percentage of the 39 billion dollars that American taxpayers have spent in that country, intended to build or rebuild infrastructure, has gone to waste or graft. The answer was between 60-70%.

  1. I was hoping to hear a politician wanting to represent our state in the US House say that he was hoping waste and graft was 0%. But apparently you are okay with 10% corruption. You are a dolt.
