The path to wings.

The children could not part with the caterpillar when we got home. So they placed it in a plastic container and this morning woke up to a cocoon. The caterpillar is on its way to becoming a monarch butterfly.

A lazy Saturday afternoon was spent at Dalton Lake in the Black Hills. Henry reached up and grabbed a dragonfly, he also snagged a caterpillar.
